'Mount Cook at Twilight' As the last light fades 'Mount Cook at Twilight' 
As the last light fades across Aoraki / Mount Cook, there’s a quiet reminder of God’s strength and constancy. The stillness of the mountains reflects the truth of Psalm 121:1–2 — “I lift up my eyes to the mountains—where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.”
It’s a moment to pause, breathe, and remember that the same God who formed these peaks is the One who steadies us.

Just as the bee works diligently and faithfully, so our own walk of faith—though quiet and often unseen—is met with God’s blessings. In the small, steady acts of obedience and trust, we find the sweetness of His provision. ‘Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.’ — Galatians 6:9"

"Resting Place" – this is a misty scene with a ca "Resting Place" -  this is a misty scene with a cabin tucked among a grove of trees — a simple stop for a weary traveler! Painted in soft, complementary tones, the watercolour captures the calm of a brief pause amid life’s journey. It invites the viewer to slow down, breathe, and find stillness. Like the traveler finding shelter for the night, we too can find rest in God’s presence: “My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest” (Exodus 33:14).

"Voice of the Forest" – in the calm forest, the so "Voice of the Forest" - in the calm forest, the soft calls of the fantails remind us of God’s gentle presence. Each chirp and flutter feels like a whisper of peace and a moment of rest for the soul. Here, among the trees that God has lovingly planted and nourished, creation itself seems to sing His praise ( my reflection of Psalm 104:16)!

This gentle watercolour captures the quiet moment when night gives way to dawn. A soft mist lingers over the landscape as a flock of birds lifts into the light, carrying with them a sense of renewal and promise. It’s a picture of grace after sorrow — a reminder that no matter how long the night feels, hope always rises with the morning.

"Catching the Wind" : like the wind that lifts th "Catching the Wind" :  like the wind that lifts these birds effortlessly skyward, this painting speaks of the quiet strength that comes from trusting God. Inspired by Isaiah 40:31, “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength…”, it’s a reminder that faith allows us to rise above weariness and soar with renewed purpose — carried not by our own power, but by His.
