These two little sparrows capture the simple joy of companionship—perched close, sharing a quiet moment beneath an open sky. They whisper a gentle truth: God’s beauty is often found in the moments we slow down long enough to notice.

As the sun sinks and the city softens into evening, the fading light settles over the streets with a warm, gentle calm. It’s a moment that always makes me think of God—how His peace rests on us even in the middle of life’s bustle, echoing Psalm 4:8: “In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety.”
This painting is my way of capturing that sacred pause at day’s end, when we entrust the night—and all who journey through it—into His care.

'Mount Cook at Twilight' As the last light fades 'Mount Cook at Twilight' 
As the last light fades across Aoraki / Mount Cook, there’s a quiet reminder of God’s strength and constancy. The stillness of the mountains reflects the truth of Psalm 121:1–2 — “I lift up my eyes to the mountains—where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.”
It’s a moment to pause, breathe, and remember that the same God who formed these peaks is the One who steadies us.

A group of birds catch the wind and rise together — calm and steady above the crashing waves. Like these trees, we’re called to stand firm through every season, drawing our strength from the One who sustains us.

"Voice of the Forest" – in the calm forest, the so "Voice of the Forest" - in the calm forest, the soft calls of the fantails remind us of God’s gentle presence. Each chirp and flutter feels like a whisper of peace and a moment of rest for the soul. Here, among the trees that God has lovingly planted and nourished, creation itself seems to sing His praise ( my reflection of Psalm 104:16)!
